Volume 45: Stories of Change
January – March 2025

Webinars and Trademarks
We’ve found that the early months of the year are a great time to think about professional development, and 2025 is no exception—we recently attended several webinars, including one on how to create a story of change, a personalized case study used in reporting, from the British Columbia Council of International Cooperation (BCCIC).

One exciting development this year is that our Canadian trademark for Unigrams, our qualitative analysis tool, has been approved. Scroll down to our company update to learn more.

Rankings and review website G2 has released updates rankings, and Kai Analytics has once more been featured in its grids as a leader in business intelligence consulting and a high-performer in market research services. We are incredibly grateful to our clients for leaving reviews which affect rankings and help us improve our services.

As always, thank you for reading!

Unigrams – Officially Trademarked in Canada
If you’ve been following us for a while, you may remember hearing that Unigrams, our qualitative analysis software, was trademarked in the US. Recently, we are pleased to say that our trademark has also been approved in Canada.

Unigrams processes large amounts of text — reviews, open-ended survey comments, interview responses, etc. — and quickly categorizes them into understandable themes. We originally created this tool for qualitative researchers, but have since seen it used in a wide variety of cases, making analyzing text comments easy and efficient.
